More and more software vendors are reworking their products to fit the SaaS (Software as a Service) model providing new features to their customers that weren’t available before. The front office has definitely garnered the most attention from Cloud software developers. Lots of products and offerings are available for a companies front office: CRM systems, accounting software, HR systems – and it seems like the front office is more ready to adapt to Cloud computing. But what about the back office? What about Manufacturing software? A robust, sophisticated, and well-developed ERP system is necessary for a Manufacturing Company to flourish and until recent years, On-premise was the only player in that game. Cloud ERP solutions often over promised and under delivered as they underestimated the complex challenges that arise with ERP. However, Manufacturers would be unwise to continue to dismiss Cloud ERP for their next Manufacturing ERP system. There is a modern solution for traditional manufacturers. Rootstock, who possesses decades of experience creating and maintaining successful On-Premise ERP, has taken that knowledge and applied it to the Cloud. By partnering with Cloud Computing experts, they were able to bring the best of both worlds to the table and create a robust ERP on the dynamic, feature rich platform of the Cloud. Rootstock offers a full suite of ERP on the Force.com Platform. This is a Salesforce ERP solution built to handle real manufacturing needs and help manufacturers stay current and competitive and grow and flourish in their business.
